WRTU

Hope everybody is staying safe and healthy. As with many other events and activities, our chapter meetings have been put on hold. With that being said, we are still here and are eager to get back to work. On the bright side, it is spring, and that means fishing!! Locally the steelhead scene is about over, and the coming hot temperatures will send the few remaining fish back to the lake. The smallmouth bass have taken their place, along with various sucker species, and other fish you may encounter include rock bass, longnose gar, white bass, white perch, catfish, and the list goes on this time of year! Bass and panfish have moved shallow in our local inland lakes. For you Pennsylvania anglers, the trout fishing has been pretty good, as it always is this time of year. A variety of hatches are taking place now and will continue over the next few weeks. It is the best time of year to be an angler. Get outside, practice social distancing, and we hope to see you when everything gets back to normal! Keep an eye out for updates.
