Watauga River

Watauga River is a slow moving river full of massive trout.  Your best bet to catching fish in this river is terrestrial or streamers.  Also you should float the river, because there are limited access for waders.

I spent some time in TN back in the day in Millington Naval Station doing some training for the USMC.

Where is this river? It sounds like it would probably be on the East side of the state getting close to the Grandfather Mtns...
